Fast service and excellent food are two things this place is known for. Of course presentation counts, but if you’re just coming out of a bar and you had nothing but whiskey or vodka all night, then who cares about presentation.
So what should you order from this joint? Well, I would recommend you start with the Fresh Fish with Bean Curd Soup. This soup will help you sober up, so you can enjoy the rest of your order. But if you’re not a fan of fish or seafood, then the Chicken Cream Corn Soup would be the best pick for meat-eaters. (But seriously, what are you doing in a seafood restaurant?)
Now, for the main course….nom-nom-nom-nom! The following are my personal favorites:
- Deep Fried Chicken with Lemon Sauce (a.k.a. Lemon Chicken)
- Mongolian Beef (a little greasy, but you’ll be too drunk to tell)
- Sautéed Spinach
- Pan Fried Noodles with Seafood (ask your server to make it crispy)
- Calamari: Deep Fried Squid with Spicy Salt (we also call it Crackamari!)
Of all the five dishes mentioned above, the Crackamari is the only one that we always have to get every time we dine. We call it, “Crackamari”, because you will get hooked. Folks this dish is no joke. It should be eaten with extreme caution. Yes, it’s that good!
So if you like food, as much as I do then don’t just take my word for it. Go and try it. If you are coming from a bar or club on a weekend, then you may not want to wait till last call to head over there, because this place gets packed between 2am and 3am.
