Equality is not just an idea or a campaign. Equality is a way of life; a right every human being – male, female, white, black, gay or straight – should enjoy and know that he or she can live freely. Through Freedom Festival 2011, we want to create not just a single day or a single block of time, but a movement. That movement is Free to Be.
With Free to Be our goal is to ignite every person in attendance at Freedom Festival to spread the message and create positive change toward greater equality. Our purpose is to expose the public to important issues of our communities and to inspire individuals regardless of background, sexual orientation, faith, color or any other distinguishing characteristic to embrace the characteristics that make us all unique.
