Batwings Catwings Unveil "Radio" Video

Los Angeles-based experimental noise punks Batwings Catwings are pleased to unveil the video for “Radio,” the title track a-side from their recently released 7”, available now on Gravy Record. The video,” says frontwoman Dana Poblete, “is all about feeling totally lost, but finding one thing that makes you feel like yourself. In this case, it’s music, and also the idea that unhappiness is often just an illusion that we don’t have to believe in.”

Poblete continues,“We shot this ourselves on-location at a gorgeous spot near Victorville, CA, with help from a couple of super talented friends: Scott Garrison from the collective Imps of Marge and Fletch, and the star of the video, Moses Harris, Jr. who also performs music as Kid Static. We wanted to do something simple and striking, which is a reflection of the song. We had a blast making this, getting dusty, and eating bags of cheeseburgers in the middle of nowhere.”

Batwings Catwings are playing a slew of shows in their hometown of Los Angeles (and a show with Future Islands in Long Beach) in November and December. Check out all the dates below.
