On October 6, bands from around the world converged on Los Angeles to perform at FILTER Magazine’s four-day international festival Culture Collide 2011. The bands played at numerous historic venues in Los Angeles’ East Side including The Echo, Echoplex, Taix, 826LA, The Church, ReForm Academy, Co-op and Origami concluding with the all-day TOYOTA ANTICS Block Party in Echo Park.
Copenhagen’s The Asteroids Galaxy Tour stopped by after playing back-to-back sold-out shows in New York and Chicago to perform live at The Echoplex and the TOYOTA ANTICS Block Party. Their second full-length album, Out of Frequency, will be released January 31, 2012 on BMG Rights. Singer Mette Lindberg spoke with Ellenwood moments before taking the stage at The Echoplex.
