The EC Twins are about to kick off an extended touring schedule for the next few months, culminating in a main stage appearance at the Tomorrowland festival and what better way to say bon voyage than by grabbing and sharing their hyperbolically titled, infectious house track “The Best Song in the World…Ever” The track is available to fans and DJs exclusively through Beatport, (currently occupying the number 8 spot on Beatport Electro charts and climbing).
The EC Twins - The Best Song In The World…EverEC Twin Marc Blackham describes the process by which the track was born: “Our enthusiasm in the studio is sometimes a tad over the top and every time we hit a flow we get excited and make swooping statements about how we feel like it’s the best song ever written! Of course such things are personal opinions, but it really is a joke at the expense of our over zealous production techniques.”
The Twins have built a varied repertoire of solid, floor-filling, high-profile remixes. A remix of Adele’s hit record “Someone Like You” climbed to the top of the charts on SIRIUS radio, following a critically acclaimed remix of Dev and Enrique Iglesias’ smash “Naked”. Their recent project as members of Planet Perfecto Knights under Paul Okenfold’s “Perfecto Records” resulted in a song entitled “ResuRection” which hit the coveted number 1 position on BEATPORT twice. With The Greatest Song In The Word…Ever, The Twin’s deft production weaves four-on-the floor, classic house drums and sizzling bass, building into big room synths, triggering an epic hands in the air drop.
