Cloud Cult have been very busy since their last full-length release Light Chasers. Most recently, they have been working on finishing up their new album due out later this year.
The first single off Light Chasers, “Running With The Wolves,” has been included in the new XBOX 360 game “JAM Live Music Arcade” – out May 16th – which allows players to mix songs of their favorite artists; songs from Modest Mouse, Fat Boy Slim and more are in the playlist.
In other 2012 Cloud Cult news, the band have donated a bulk of the profits from their live shows this year to their environmental nonprofit Earthology Institute. Also, Craig Minowa just finished scoring music for another season of National Geographic’s “America the Wild.”
