Philadelphia, PA – Breaking Glass Pictures is proud to announce theOctober 2 DVD release of the crime drama “$hifty” (SRP $24.99). Directed by Eran Creevy (“Welcome to the Punch”), “$hifty” received five nominations at The British Independent Film Awards and a BAFTA nomination upon its UK release.

Starring Riz Ahmed (“The Reluctant Fundamentalist”, “Four Lions”), Jason Flemyng (“X-Men: First Class”, “Snatch”), Daniel Mays (“The Bank Job”, “Atonement”), and BAFTA-nominated Francesca Annis (“Revolver”, “The Libertine”), “$hifty” brings an ensemble of talented actors to the screen, bringing the life of Shifty and the underworld he inhabits to a harsh reality.
“$hifty” explores an action-packed 24 hours in the life of a young London drug dealer named Shifty (Ahmed) and the sudden return home of his best friend Chris (Mays) which sets off a chain of events that quickly spiral out of control.
Stalked by a desperate customer, Shifty must outrun and outsmart a rival dealer intent on setting him up for a big fall. As his friend Chris confronts the dark past he left behind, and Shifty works to protect a drug addled love interest, he is forced to face up to the violent future he’s hurtling toward.
