Acclaimed Atlanta rapper WAKA FLOCKA FLAME will make his CLUB NOKIA debut Sunday, November 4. This show will also feature a performance by Wooh Da Kid. Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, August 10 at 10:00 AM.
Following a successful run on Drake’s “Club Paradise” tour with 2 Chainz, J. Cole, Meek Mill, the Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame will be back on the road in October for his Triple F Life: Friends, Fans, and Family Tour. Launching from Norfolk’s Norva Theatre on October 2, the tour will continue through November. Immediately following the domestic run, Waka Flocka will take his show across the Atlantic for select performances across Europe beginning December 2 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Last week in Atlanta, Waka Flocka began taping the visuals for his next single, “Get Low.” Directed by Benny Boom, the video features Nicki Minaj, Tya & Flo-Rida and is currently taking off at rhythmic radio. Making good on a promise upon reaching his 1 millionth Twitter follower, Waka Flocka released the tracklisting and mixtape for his forthcoming mixtape Salue Me Or Shoot Me 4 this week. Fans helped the rapper reach his goal by making 20 worldwide trending topics (including #WakaFlockaFollowMe) and almost 2 million mentions in the last 30 days. The DJ Holiday-hosted mixtape of brand new material features appearances by Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, Chief Keef, Odd Future’s Tyler The Creator, and Yo Gotti amongst others.
In October of 2010, Waka Flocka Flame burst onto the scene with his debut album Flockaveli which was dubbed as “the most anarchic rap album of 2010.” Led by the #1 single and triple-platinum “No Hands” featuring Wale and Roscoe Dash, Flockaveli debuted at #6 with over 300k copies sold to date.
