Monsters Ate My Condo! Review

Review by: Cheri Green

So many times I’ve been up late watching a little Robot Chicken on Adult Swim when a commercial for their latest and greatest game blasts across the screen.  I have absolutely bought games featured in theses sarcastic advertisements, with the latest being “Robot Unicorn Attack Heavy Metal Edition.”  Although certainly not complicated, and even though it was very smartly made, I felt like it was a game you played once in a while…Or just the first time you bought it like I did.

What I like about “Monsters Ate My Condo” is that the hilarious graphics and the simplistic goal (match the colored condos up to the color of the monster to eat and make happy) made it for an addicting game play of which I couldn’t put down my phone. I was furiously swiping colored bricks into the mouths of the monsters beside this leaning tower, trying to make sure not to topple it.  You don’t even care when it’s over, because you become excited to start over from square one.  Any game that ignites the want and need to start over again is a total winner.

And apparently, I’m not the only one who finds this game mega awesome.  “Monsters Ate My Condo” became the iPhone Game of the Week on September 16th, and received raving customer reviews.  Definitely an awesome time waster, and for just a mere ninty nine cents:  Go get your build on!!
