Bioshock 2 Available for MAC in January
You heard right. The smash hit from 2K will be available for MAC users this coming January. Feral Interactive will port the MAC version of BioShock 2 and will be available for download via their website, or through the MAC App store for $34.95 USD. What’s in it for a MAC user who is receiving this game two years after the rest of the gaming world got their hands on it? This download comes with it’s own exclusive multi-player game, “The Fall of Rapture“ in which players experience the world of Rapture a year before the first BioShock took place. From the website:
“Engage in all-out civil war as you take on the role of a test subject for the opportunistic plasmid manufacturer Sinclair Solutions. As the conflict between the libertarian Andrew Ryan and man-of-the-people Altas grows ever bloodier, you must choose a side.”
Some system requirements in order to experience BioShock 2: Minimum system requirements call for a 2.0 GHz Intel Mac with at least 4GB RAM, Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later, and 256MB of graphics memory. The following graphics cards are not supported: ATI X1xxx series, ATI 2400, NVIDIA 9400, NVIDIA 7xxx series and Intel GMA series. The following cards require will require 4GB of system RAM: NVIDIA 320M and Intel HD 3000.
MAC users will be able to become a Big Daddy for the first time in January, 2012.
