Angry Birds Released to Facebook
Those grumbling birds and snorting piggies are back, and this time on Facebook. To balance out the almost over-saturation of these determined birdies, of course there will be “exclusives” to playing it via the Facebook app, one being levels you can only access from Facebook. There have been social elements added, like leaderboards that will be automatically generated based on your Facebook friends. Certain power ups and secret gifts can be shared, and your scores will post to your wall for bragging rights.
What are power ups? It’s an extra edge the player gains to boost the chances of maximum destruction, as described on the Press Release:
