Expect Assassin’s Creed III In October
In a conference call held with Ubisoft today, Investors discussed their latest projects to be released later this year. One that Yves Guillemot, President of Ubisoft, was especially excited to announce is Assassin’s Creed III saying it will be “the true next generation of both the Assassin’s Creed brand and and interactive entertainment/storytelling in general.”
What exactly does this mean in regards to plot and story line? No firm details were released, but the expectations of fans and followers of the series is undoubtedly high once it was revealed that sales of III should surpass the sales of the most recently released title “Revelations” (estimated 7 million sold since November, 2011). Guillemot also stated that this newest venture has been in development for the past three years.
The release is set for October 30, 2012 and will be available on Xbox 360, Playstation 3® , and PC.
