Game Developers Conference: Sim City 5 Coming in 2013
A huge announcement by EA was made at the Game Developers Conference in which fans of the SimCity series could expect a new installment in 2013 (which is already being developed by Maxis Emeryville). Electronic Arts introduced the city building genre in 1989, and next year you can expect to jump into an evolved version to the normal SimCity concept: Players will experience permanent consequences to the decisions they make while building and expanding their cities. There will also be an element to the online gameplay which promotes a more competitive atmosphere between gamers which is a first in the franchise history. Collaborate with friends and watch your actions directly impact your neighbors.
SimCity 5 is due to release in 2013 for Windows PC and MAC.
