SKULLGIRLS Gets an XBLA Release Date
Autumn Games and Konami teamed up with Reverge Labs to bring the hottest download 2D fighting game this spring. Skullgirls features a roster of eight female characters in a tournament based fighting design that uses tactical skill knowledge applied to your team in state of the art animation. Expect to cultivate your team while you pit one, two, or three of your players against an opponent at a time. Six button play allows for a variety of special combo assaults to be made, and with Custom Assists, you can expect endless possibilities in your string of attacks. Single player, Online, and Training modes will release at launch, and DLC is already in development.
Skullgirls will cost you a hefty 1200 MS Points, and will be available to download via Xbox LIVE on April 11, 2012. Although no official date of release has been announced for the PlayStation®Network, it has been rumored to release around the same time, quite possibly April 10th. The PSN version will be able to download for $14.95 USD.
