Lost Planet 3 Announcement

Capcom announced it’s third title in the Lost Planet series today, developed by Spark Unlimited® and will use the Unreal Engine 3.  Players will be introduced to the game’s rig pilot protagonist, Jim, as he partakes in a dangerous contract with E.D.N. III.  Thermal Energy has been discovered on a distant planet, and now Jim and his fellow comrades must make sure it is habitable and safe for colonization.

Lost Planet 3 will provide various different types of game styles covering FPS and on foot battles.  The single player and multiplayer modes will have players exploring to the very ends of the unforgiving terrain.

LP3 is slated for a 2013 release date for Xbox 360® and PlayStation®3.
