Residen Evil 6 Leaps Ahead Original Release Date
With game releases like Assassin’s Creed® III and BioShock Infinite, it’s no wonder why Capcom would join the battle for the fall and push RE6 from it’s original November 20th date to October 2012, almost a month ahead of it’s competitors. A trailer was leaked today entitled “Captivate,” which gives us a lot more plot details about what the 6th title has in store: Wesker Jr, Sherry, and a new C-Virus. Controller adjustments have been made this time around, mainly the fact that players can now take advantage of shooting while moving (no more stationary trying to aim while waves of infected are coming at you in droves), and taking cover. RE6 will also offer “drop in, drop out” play, mercenaries mode, and streamlined co-op playability.
Xbox 360® gamers: Purchasing Dragon’s Dogma will grant you early access to the Resident Evil 6 Demo with an included code on July 3rd. For those with the PlayStation®3, September 4th will be your Demo release date. And, according to the trailer below, Resident Evil 6 will be available on October 02, 2012.
