Calvin Johnson Will Grace Madden NFL 13…But Can He Break the Curse?

Lyons receiver Calvin Johnson beat out Panther’s quarterback Cam Newton pulling in 52% of the casted 651,790 votes, laughing off the “Madden Curse” that has found several players unable to perform to their maximum potential after being featured on a Madden cover (Vince Young, Brett Favre, Donovan McNabb just to name a few).  Lyons teammate Nate Burleson voted for Johnson saying he believed if anyone could break the curse, it would be Johnson.
