DmC: Devil May Cry Delayed Until 2013, Offers up Kat and PC Version
DmC is joining the not so exclusive list of delays as it was announced today that fans will have to wait until January for the reboot. According to Capcom’s Community Blog they assure us that the wait will be worth it, reminding us to remember the glory with their previous January releases like Resident Evil 4 and Lost Planet™ Extreme Condition to name a few.
To keep us hungry for DmC, the blog discloses that there is a PC version already in the works (the release date is not specified with the blog notating that it is due for later 2013), and details the game’s newest supporting character, Kat.
Kat is a former runaway that joined The Order very early in her life. She is a medium and a gifted psychic who can see into Limbo, the demon realm, but not directly interact with it in the way that Dante does. She is the right hand girl of the Leader of The Order and devotes her very life to him, often putting herself in grave danger to gather intelligence from Limbo.
There is a sweet innocence about Kat’s world view and logic, but when it comes to her specialist subject, the demon realm, she is an undoubted expert. Kat is The Order’s ‘eyes and ears’ and is tasked with guiding Dante on his mission through Limbo.
