E3 Microsoft Conference: Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist
Step back into Sam’s combat boots for another thrilling, action packed adventure in the newest title from the Tom Clancy Splinter Cell series with “Blacklist.” From the press release: “The United States has a military presence in two thirds of countries around the world. A group of 12 have had enough and initiate a terror ultimatum called the Blacklist – a deadly countdown of escalating terrorist attacks on U.S. interests. Sam Fisher is the leader of the newly formed 4th Echelon unit: a clandestine unit that answers solely to the President of the United States. Sam and his team must hunt down these terrorists by any means necessary, and stop the Blacklist countdown before it reaches zero.”
Some cool new features were announced at today’s E3 conference that will assist players in streamlined and precision based gameplay. Sam will be able to demonstrate agility in action when he uses “Active Sprint” to climb over walls and rugged terrain, while “Killing in Motion” will enable him to mark several enemies at once for execution in one swoop. Blacklist will also utilize Kinect voice recognition, and to the delight of many fans of the series, Spy Vs. Mercs is back!
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist is published and developed by Ubisoft, and will be available in Spring, 2013 for
PlayStation®3, XBOX 360®, and Windows PC.
