Call of Duty®: Black Ops Zombies App Invades Android

Call of Duty®: Black Ops Zombies hit the Android market thanks to the folks at Treyarch who wanted to give players a little  something more after the popularity of these flesh eating monsters popped up in Call of Duty®: Black Ops’ Zombie Mode.   The game was previously released for the iPhone®, iPad® and iPod Touch® last year in December.  The game for Android was adapted by Ideaworks Game Studio and developed by Glu Mobile, Inc.

We can expect challenging maps like Kino Der Toten, Ascension, and Call of the Dead: Director’s Cut for the Android version.  For those who want to step up their game the “Dead Ops Arcade” will have you in the midst of a 50 level onslaught of undead.  A plethora of weapons will be available to gamers that wish to brave it alone solo, or connect to wifi and play as a team (the in game CoD Point System is available to single player), and of course there will be plenty of un-lockables and other necessary assets to collect along the way.

“We’re delighted to bring the blockbuster  Call of Duty® franchise to Android smartphones and Xperia for the first time.  And what better way to make this introduction than with the release of  Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies,” said Tim Harrison, Head of Content Marketing and Strategy at Sony Mobile. “There’s nothing else in this world or the underworld like  Call of Duty.  We can’t wait to unleash Zombies to our fans.”

We can’t either!
