Melanie C unveils Emma Bunton duet footage

Melanie C has released a video for herself singing with Emma Bunton.

The two Spice Girls have teamed up for the track ‘I Know Him So Well’ for Mel C’s forthcoming new studio album ‘Stages’.

It is a rare coming together on record for the two bandmates, who reunited with the Spice Girls this summer for the Olympic Games celebrations.

Mel C has now released a video of the pair performing the Elaine Paige and Barbara Dickson song in a studio with a pianist and a string section.

The tender clip sees the duo share a close hug as they finish up the song.

‘I Know Him So Well’ will be released in the UK on November 11.

Mel C reunites with Emma Bunton in the studio for a collaboration

Spice Girls star Mel C has confirmed that her forthcoming new studio album will feature a collaboration with her former bandmate, Emma Bunton.

The ‘I Turn To You’ hitmaker took to her official Twitter page earlier this afternoon (July 6) and told her followers that she has recorded an exciting duet with Bunton, writing:

“*Drum roll* I am very proud to announce my beautiful friend @EmmaBunton has duetted with me for me new album Stages #babyandsporty!! Me and @EmmaBunton and have recorded the fantastic,’I know him so well’ Singing together again is amazing and emotional. Love you baby! x”

Bunton, known as Baby Spice, also tweeted about the new working partnership and revealed that it was emotional to be creating music together again:

“Being back in the recording studio with the amazing @MelanieCmusic was emotional and brought back so many memories!!!! Loved it!!”

Spice Girls Diamond Jubilee Concert heartbreak

Iconic British girl group the Spice Girls have revealed their regret and disappointment at not having performed at the Queen’s Jubilee Concert over the bank holiday weekend.

Back in February, Mel C confirmed that the girl power pioneers would not be taking part in the nationwide celebrations and told Lorraine Kelly:

“Unfortunately we don’t plan to perform or reform, so I’m sorry to disappoint anybody. We often have things that we talk about and it was something that we discussed, but unfortunately it’s not going to happen.”

All Saints singer Nicole Appleton tweeted a public message to both Melanie C and Emma Bunton telling them the Spice Girls should have performed at the Diamond Jubilee Concert: “Ok the spice girls should have rocked this show!!..Xxx”

Mel C also added: “Bit miffed I’m not down at Buckingham Palace :-( x”
