According to the BBC, 360 gamers have lost their console after it was plugged in with Kinect. A ten year-old Adam Winnifrith got Kinect from his dad on Christmas day. Unfortunately, the day they receive their new toy was the day that it broke.

There hasn’t been any official reports of mass Kinect – Xbox 360 failures, but with Microsoft’s track record so far this gaming generation I wouldn’t be suprised if the blame is the Kinect. Word around the internet is that the original Xbox 360 is red-ringing more often than the new Kinect Ready Xbox when connected to the Kinect. Have you guys had any problems with the Kinect if you have purchased one?
